Worried about cancer? Experiencing symptoms that aren't normal for you?
It is important you contact your hospital team or GP if this is the case - they want to hear from you.
Apps to support people affected by cancer in Greater Manchester
We have worked with our partner ORCHA to create a library of apps you can trust to support various aspects of life with and after cancer.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Whether you are living with or beyond breast cancer or need help to check for changes in your chest these apps are a good place to start. The Becca App from Breast Cancer Now offers a wealth of information and support as well as a supportive community of people who know the challenges of life with breast cancer. The OWise - Breast Cancer Support App will help you to organise your appointments, keep track of your symptoms, side effects and wellbeing, and support you with information and guidance, including suggested questions to ask your care team. Use the Dear Mamma app to guide you through your self-examination and set reminders to do it regularly – share it with family and friends to raise awareness and encourage everyone to check their chest.
