Apps to support people affected by cancer in Greater Manchester
We have worked with our partner ORCHA to create a library of apps you can trust to support various aspects of life with and after cancer.
Winter Wellbeing
This time of year can be particularly hard for people affected by cancer. As the days get shorter and temperatures drop, people stay indoors more which can lead to increased loneliness and isolation for those who are unwell and increased pressure on those caring for them. Belong gives you access to a supportive community, including a social network of patients and caregivers available 24/7, ensuring there is always someone you can connect with. The Jointly app will help you to keep track of your caring responsibilities and your loved one’s needs, whilst Sciensus makes staying on top of appointments and other ‘cancer admin’ easier for you both.
